Task Details



Programs/Browse

Choose a program you want to control from the list or browse for its executable file directly.

Show already scheduled programs only

With this option enabled the list will display only programs for which you already have some tasks on schedule.

Task name and Description

These two fields have no influence on the task itself. Use them so you can identify the task in the list among others and describe what it does.

Scheduled time

Here you set the time when a task should be executed.

Current time

Click here to quickly set the current time.

Sleep

If you put a task to sleep it will not be executed regardless of its scheduled time.

Actions list

When a program for which you are creating a task is enabled with an interface for Smooth Program Scheduler the list will show all actions that you can do with that program. For ordinary programs the only available action is "execute".

Parameters

You can use this textbox to send some command line parameters to the controlled program.

Time (offset)

When your task consists of several actions this parameter allows you to set them in a logic sequence on the execution timeline. Time offset 0:00 means that the action will take place exactly at the scheduled time for the task. Minimum offset between two actions is 1 second.

Add action / Copy as new

Click on this button to add an action to the task. If you select an existing action in the list you will be able to copy it as new.

Delete action

To remove an action select it and click on this button.

Apply changes

To change time offset for an action select it, make the change and then click on this button to apply it.

List of actions

This list shows all actions in the task sorted chronologically according to their time offsets. First column shows actual time when actions will take place depending on the scheduled time for the task.

Recurrence

If you want a task to repeat with a certain pattern then enable this option. There are four recurrence pattern options with additional parameters that will appear to the right upon selection.

Set Range

By default a task with recurrence pattern will repeat indefinitely. If you click on this button you will be able to set a number of executions or an ending date.
