Search for Applications

To create a task for some program you have to browse for its executable file or choose it from the list in Task Details dialog. Through this parameter you can choose when the program should scan your computer to make the list of available programs. Please note that this is a lengthy operation so we recommend using the option Manually and clicking Search Now when you are ready to wait. The other two available options are Once in every X days and Once a day on Scheduler's first start.

Scheduler enhanced programs only

If checked, the list of available programs in Task Details dialog will show only those programs that are enabled with a special control interface built under Smooth Program Scheduler's specification that allows additional control over the program and not just starting it. For example, such programs are our sound recorders Audio Notes Recorder and Claudio.

Launch Scheduler on StartUp

If checked, Smooth Program Scheduler will automatically launch itself every time your computer starts up.

If checked, the program's main window will show up on the screen immediately after the program is started.

Action Time Offset - Default auto-increment

When you are adding actions to a task this parameter will be used for default time difference between the new and the last action.
