(http://www.xemico.com/) announces a major improvement to its internet screensaver technology. In addition to automatic updates and other features known from previous editions, screensavers created with this Windows program can include HTML contents.
There are two ways of using ShowHTML in a screensaver project. One scenario is to embed HTML or MHT file that you can later update on the screensaver's web location whenever necessary. On the other hand you can set a page URL to display, so a screensaver uses live contents directly from the internet or intranet.
You can use both techniques in the same project and there are no constraints regarding the type of HTML contents to show –- what works in a browser should also work in your screensaver. The difference, of course, is in that a user can not interact with a screensaver.
You can use screensavers with HTML contents for a number of purposes. For example, you can present your website's key pages in a specific slideshow with live contents, or you can display pages with latest news about your company, or get the current stock quote on the screen directly from a web feed, or simply leverage the HTML's powers to make attractive screensavers.
Internet ScreenSaver Builder costs 49 USD for non-commercial and 149 USD for commercial license, both including unlimited free upgrade opportunity. |
