Active Desktop Calendar news from XemiComputers

In this issue:
- Active Desktop Calendar 5.2released
- How to upgrade for FREE
- New freeware: Smooth Program Scheduler

  Dear subscriber,

Active Desktop Calendar 5.2 (build 050420) is ready for you to download:
http://www.xemico.com/adc/adc.exe

Four new "Desktop view" options for notes/appointments were added: on its date only, 1-day before, 3-days before or week before. They allow you to control when a note/appointment will start appearing on the desktop by overriding the general setting "Display notes for next XX days".

For example, if today is April 19th, general setting is to display notes for next 30 days, you have a note on April 27th and its desktop view is set to 1-day before, then that note will not appear on the desktop until April 26th despite the fact that it falls within next 30 days. This way you can optimize desktop space by postponing appearance of notes/appointments that are not so important to start appearing on the desktop long before their dates.

Existing users: how to upgrade for FREE

All licensed (registered) users are entitled to download and install new versions of Active Desktop Calendar free of charge. Program installation archive for the latest version is always available for download from this location:
http://www.xemico.com/adc/adc.exe
(version 5.2 build 050420)

All you have to do to upgrade is download new version and install it to the same folder over the old one. It's that simple.

Smooth Program Scheduler New Freeware by XemiComputers

This freeware will start any program you want at a scheduled time. It can perform both one-time and recurring tasks. For special programs additional control is available so you can use Scheduler to make fully automated tasks to do different actions. Our general purpose sound recorders Audio Notes Recorder and Claudio are enabled in that way so Scheduler can automate them to make unattended scheduled recordings.

The process is explained on the following page:

Until next time,
