| You know
very well that prior versions of the program stored all calendar
data in a single file so there was no way to separate them on any
account. We broke that barrier and the program will now organize
data in layers. That way you can have separate layers for personal
appointments, birthdays, business meetings, public holidays and
so on. Layers are automatically blended on the desktop in a familiar
single view.
Furthermore if your computer is networked and there are other
copies of Active Desktop Calendar hanging around, then you will
be able to share calendar data between them. Sharing works for
all types of calendar data (notes, tasks and alarms) and for any
data layer you want. You will just relocate a layer data file to
some shared folder and tell others where to look for it. Then they
can connect to that file and your shared data will immediately
appear on their desktops. |
