What's new in this version

File Size Filters

File size filters allow you to automatically exclude files that are greater or less than size you choose in kilobytes or megabytes. You do not have to use both filters, you can use only one of them if you like (e.g. to exclude only files that are greater than some value). There is also a button in the program's download dialog that allows you to apply the filters manually on the current list of files.

List of Remaining Files

There is a new button called Show URLs List available in the Download Druid Bar. When downloading is in progress and you click on that button you will get back the list of files remaining for download. You will see the current file download status and you will be able to deselect some of remaining files.

What was new in version 2.1

Improvements to the automatic file rename system

You are now able to choose a convention for auto renaming files that suits you best. It can either be adding a prefix or suffix to the original file name. Additionally, you can enable "Always rename files" option so all downloaded files get a prefix or suffix added to their file names even when there is no conflict with existing files.

What was new in version 2.0

Import/Export File URLs (direct links to files)

You are now able to export file URLs while you surf the Internet and import them back later. URLs are stored in plain text format, single URL per row.

Download Completed Notification

When the program is finished with downloading files it can pop-up a notification dialog and/or play sound notification. You can also set your own WAV file to be played as the sound notification.

Download Highlighted Files Only

If you first highlight some part of the page Download Druid will automatically detect the selection and look for downloadable files only within that section.

Wildcards Accepted in File Type Filter

When specifying the file type filter you can also use standard wildcard characters.
    (e.g. "nm*.gif; picture.*; page?.htm; *.doc; image*.zip;")

What was new in version 1.2
