
Active Desktop Calendar keeps all its data and settings in a single database file. This makes the backup process fairly easy as there is only one file to copy to a safe place. If you do not want to rely just on the program's built-in automatic daily backup functionality then you can include that database file in your own backup procedures.
Calendar database file name and location

The calendar database file is named "Active Desktop Calendar.xdat" and depending on the version of Windows on your computer you will find it in this folder:
- (Windows 7/Vista) C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\XemiComputers\
Active Desktop Calendar\Data
- (Windows XP) C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\XemiComputers\Active Desktop Calendar\Data
